Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled ATM Support Engineer to manage and support the bank’s ATM network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous operation of ATMs across various locations. The role involves both remote support and on-site visits to ensure optimal ATM uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ATM Operations & Maintenance:

• Monitor and manage ATM machines to ensure maximum uptime.
• Perform routine maintenance and software updates on ATM devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

2. Incident Response & Support:

• Provide first-line and second-line support for ATM faults and errors.
• Respond promptly to service requests, outages, and cash jams.
• Coordinate with vendors and cash management teams to resolve escalated issues.

3. ATM Deployment & Configuration:

• Assist in ATM installation, relocation, and decommissioning projects.
• Configure ATM parameters, branding, and screen updates.
• Perform connectivity setup via LAN, 3G/4G, or VPN.

4. Security & Compliance:

• Ensure ATM security patches, encryption keys, and software are up to date.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
• Report suspicious activity or potential security breaches.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of ATM configurations, maintenance, and support activities.
• Generate uptime, performance, and incident reports.
• Track and manage ATM spare parts inventory.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience supporting ATMs or self-service terminals.
• Good understanding of ATM hardware components, network protocols, and Windows OS.
• Familiar with ATM brands like Diebold Nixdorf, NCR, or GRG.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a banking or financial institution.
• Knowledge of ATM switching systems and message protocols (ISO 8583).
• Vendor certifications or training in ATM maintenance and security.
