This position is responsible for supervising the construction, renovation, and maintenance of KBZ Bank buildings and related facilities to ensure that projects are completed on time, in accordance with approved standards, specifications, and design drawings. The position is also responsible for reviewing and verifying reports and documentation submitted by the Engineering Department before directly reporting to the Senior Manager.

• Site Supervision
  • Closely supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is carried out according to the approved construction schedule.
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Ensure building construction, renovation, and maintenance works deliver quality that is in correspondence with the Bank's investment.
  • Inspect construction materials, including but not limited to cement, bricks, sand, aggregates, reinforcement steel, aluminium, composite materials, and paint, to ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
  • Verify that contractors comply with approved QC procedures, technical specifications, and construction standards.
  • Ensure completed works are structurally sound, durable, capable of withstanding natural hazards, and executed efficiently.
• Drawing and Design Verification
  • Verify that construction work is executed in accordance with approved architectural, structural, and engineering drawings issued by the authorized personnel or architects.
  • Ensure any deviations from approved drawings are identified and reported promptly.
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
  • Monitor compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure workers properly use PPE and adhere to all site safety requirements.
• Progress Reporting
  • Prepare and submit Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports, including construction progress, inspection findings, and site observations.
• Coordination
  • Coordinate effectively among contractors, site workers, engineers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of site issues.
• Technical Problem Solving
  • Identify technical issues and construction defects promptly.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented without delay.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Measurement and Verification of Completed Works
  • Review and verify contractors' work measurements and payment claims submitted through the Engineering Department.
  • Conduct site measurements to ensure completed quantities are accurate before recommending payment approval.

  • Continuously enhance professional knowledge by learning new construction techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Stay informed of departmental processes and ongoing projects to improve work performance.
• Additional Duties
  • Ensure the accuracy of material schedules, quantities, and quality inspection records.
  • Verify that all construction materials and related documentation are complete and compliant with approved specifications.
  • Carry out any assignments delegated by the immediate supervisor based on business and operational requirements. 
  • Comply with the Bank's Code of Conduct, internal policies, and applicable regulations
  •  Perform any other duties assigned as required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. Civil) or B.Tech/ A.G.T.I (Civil) is required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings proficiently.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
• Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and site measurement techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond promptly and effectively to issues encountered on construction sites.
• Physically fit and capable of working in construction site environments, including handling demanding field conditions.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism on site.
• Willingness and ability to travel to remote project locations or reside at project sites when required by operational needs.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supervising building construction projects. (The required level of experience may vary depending on the size and complexity of the project.)
