Key Responsibilities

Manage import licenses, permits, certificates and government approvals.
Handle customs documentation and ensure accurate import clearance processes.
Ensure compliance with customs laws, import regulations, duties and taxes.
Coordinate with government authorities, customs brokers, shipping lines and logistics providers.
Monitor shipment clearance, container release and container return deadlines.
Control detention/demurrage costs and resolve container-related operational issues.
Maintain accurate customs and shipment records and prepare regular reports.
Support internal and external audits related to customs and import activities.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Customs Administration, or a related field.
Good knowledge of customs clearance, import procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Strong attention to detail with good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with government authorities, shipping lines, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
Proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Good English communication skills
