We distributed hardware tools and FMCG products. We are located in, Main office in Yangon, Branch office in Mandalay and 51 National wide distribution partner in Myanmar, well-organized work environment that is based on a spirit of cooperation, enthusiasm, open communications and teamwork. 

We are searching for a General Manager for the Myanmar Shining Star Distribution Co., Ltd. The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the distribution center and around 220 team members. He or she will oversee HOD and all staff, budgets and operations of the local Distribution business unit. The General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. The ideal candidate will have experience in distribution, Finance and warehouse operations, as well as management. He or she will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintain facility
• Design strategy and set goals for sales growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Ensure adherence to all corporate policy and direction
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally and conduct regular performance reviews
• Participate in staffing decisions for the site 
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Prepare regular reports for BOD
• Maintain the inside sales function
• Location and Customer selection, key account assignment
• Implementation of sales strategy

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar sales executive role
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business process and functions (Sales, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BS/BA in Business or relevant field                                                 
•  Able to travel nationwide      
• Valid drivers license, ID card with clean histor

Work Environment/Physical Demands 

• Repetitive lift – frequent light lifting
• Amount of time sitting or standing in place – may alternate and move about
• Usage of computer –Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI, email and etc.
• Repetitive motion of hands or writs – ability to keystroke for extended periods of time
• Seeing – vision skills, reading and writing skills
• Talking – verbal skills
• Hearing – communication with co-workers and others in person or via telephone
