About the Job

With the given challenges of the country, material stability has become increasingly challenging day by day. The planning team would like to extend the service in Material Planning to avoid unnecessary shortage, downtime, and obsolete costs from materials in both the short term & long term, and ensure that the right products are stored and ready for production.

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the availability of required starting materials to meet the production schedule.
• To assist the Supply Planner with the feasibility of RM/PM.
• Responsible for collaborating with the warehouse on detailed materials scheduling tasks, materials call-off, and providing visibility of incoming materials.
• Be the first point of material coverage for the long-term production plan horizon.
• To track the planned and actual consumption of materials according to the norms and to perform RCA if needed.
• Responsible for planning materials with near-expired or expired products to deplete them.
• Responsible for Planning innovations or project materials orders with the alignment of the Supply Planner, respecting the innovation/projects network & alignments.

Competency Requirements

• Attention to detail with sound logical thinking.
• Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and focus on the resolution of the problem.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize things with a sense of urgency.
• Knowledgeable production process and material planning.
• Advanced skill in Excel is a must.
• Communicate effectively and with context, in both Myanmar and English, with different levels of stakeholders.

Education: Degree holder relevant to Business Management.

Other Qualifications: Analytical Skills & Communication Skills.

Language: Fluent in both English and Myanmar.

Proven records of sound experience in Operational Planning
