ROLE PURPOSE  

A fast-growing bank in the country is looking for Finance Officer, who will be reporting to Finance Manager and to provide financial and administrative support including, to maintain of financial records ensuring financial data accuracy.  

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Prepare daily vouchers and data entry of all Head Office transactions to relevant accounts in Core banking system (FBE).   

  • Prepare prepaid / accrual expense transaction entry and consolidate prepaid / accrual register of Head Office on monthly. 

  • Prepare suspense outstanding register and support to Admin department to clear the suspense outstanding.  

  • Check and verify HO Sundry deposit account and reconcile daily.  

  • Prepare PO / PR in procurement system (KIU) for departmental expenses.  

  • Calculate depreciation for Head Office’s Fixed Assets and prepare the vouchers.  

  • Check and verify the branches’ depreciation.  

  • Communicate with branches and other departments for YSA (G) transfer from Head office related to OPEX and CAPEX.

  • B.Com (Yangon University of Economic) 

  • Diploma in Accounting, LCCI Level III 

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in preparation of financial reports in banking industry. 

  • Manage time effectively and work well under pressure to meet deadline. 

  • Team player willing and able to collaborate with associates at all levels 

  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in both English and Myanmar languages.
