Job Overview:

The Officer, Recharge Management Systems supports the day-to-day operation, monitoring, administration, first-level troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of Voucher Management System (VMS) and E-Refill Recharge System to help ensure reliable recharge services.

Recharge System Operations

• Monitor VMS and E-Refill availability, alarms, interfaces, scheduled activities, and transaction processing.
• Perform routine health checks, operational tasks, housekeeping, and first-level troubleshooting.
• Escalate service degradation, abnormal system behavior, and unresolved issues according to defined procedures.

Voucher Management System (VMS)

• Support voucher generation, activation, distribution, status management, recharge/redemption, expiry, and reporting.
• Monitor and investigate failed, delayed, or abnormal voucher transactions and status discrepancies.
• Support voucher product or denomination changes and provide transaction/audit data for verification and reconciliation.

E-Refill Recharge System

• Monitor recharge, balance transfer, commission, wallet, adjustment, and other relevant transaction flows.
• Perform first-level investigation of transaction failures, balance discrepancies, and reconciliation issues.
• Support partner, dealer, retailer, and recharge product operational or configuration requests under supervision.

Incident, Change & Testing Support

• Perform initial incident analysis and collect logs, transaction details, database records, and supporting evidence.
• Support releases, patches, configuration changes, and planned maintenance activities.
• Execute assigned UAT, pre/post-change checks, and production validation; record results and defects.

DR, Security & Compliance Support

• Participate in DR testing, switchover, failback, and service validation according to approved runbooks.
• Follow security, access-control, audit, and operational procedures and provide required evidence.

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain operational checklists, troubleshooting guides, procedures, known issues, and technical records.
• Coordinate assigned issues with Business, Revenue Assurance, Finance, Customer Operations, IT teams, and vendors.
• Support product launches, promotions, knowledge transfer, and improvement of routine operational activities.

​​​​​Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Typically, 1–3 years of relevant IT or Telecom experience; application or production support experience is desirable.

Skillsets 

• Basic knowledge of Linux, SQL/databases, APIs, application logs, networking, and telecom recharge concepts is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL 4 Foundation
• Linux, Database, or Telecom-related technical certification (desirable)
