Job Description 

• Manage and maintain virtualization infrastructure: Design, deploy, and support VMware-based virtualization technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server and vSAN. 

• Oversee Windows server, Linux administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers in both physical and virtual environments, ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and security. 

• Perform system monitoring and troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and conduct troubleshooting of VMware, Linux and Windows server-related problems. 

• Handle system upgrades and migrations: Plan, coordinate, and execute VMware, Linux and Windows server upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing downtime and ensuring compatibility. 

• Monitor and manage storage and backup solutions: Configure and maintain storage devices, implement backup strategies. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with network administrators, database administrators, and application support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related interdependencies and issues. 

• Stay updated on emerging trends: Continuously update knowledge and skills regarding VMware virtualization, Linux and Windows server technologies through industry events, certifications, and self-study. 

• Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, vSan and Microsoft Windows Server is essential. 

• Preferred to have knowledge with VMware Cloudnative solutions  

• Experience with IT automation systems like Ansible, Terraform 

Requirement 

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role 

• Bachelors Degree 

• Certification: :VMWare VCP (DCV), vSAN, RHCSA, MCSE 

Languages

• Working proficiency in Myanmar and English.
