PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Drive the development, implementation, and optimization of Route to Consumer strategies to ensure efficient and effective product or service delivery to customers. The role plays a critical part in aligning HEINEKEN Myanmar’s Route to Consumer approach, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and continuously improving the processes to enhance market penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • The role is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from strategic planning to execution and performance analysis and will collaborate with cross-functional teams internally, and externally at Distributors to drive success. After the full implementation of the project, it will be passed onto the relevant team to manage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

PROJECT EXECUTION

  • Manage and oversee RTC projects such as Keg Expansion, Crate RPM Expansion, Distribution Expansion, ensuring they are executed OTIF with cost to serve mindset
  • Lead the implementation of Contact Centre Deployment for HML
  • Lead Strategic Wholesales project together with product team
  • Lead to initiate the discussions about Distributor sales REP program with expansion & execution E2E plan together to deliver the targets
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans as needed
  • Provide guidance to project team members and ensure they meet project objectives

DATA-DRIVEN EXPERIENMEATION CAPABILITY

  • Create hypothesis, implement test and learn (A/B testing) methodologies to continuously optimize Route to Consumer strategies. Experiment with innovative approaches to make HML RTC future-proof and weather-proof, ensuring high-cost efficiency and effectiveness
  • Data reporting and insights sharing: Credible and excellent commercial data quality to help make better informed decision on the experiments

PROJECT PLANNING AND STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

  • Develop and refine Route to Consumer Projects and JTBD that align with HML's business objectives
  • Create detailed project plans, outlining milestones, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate and align with functional and cross-functional team members to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria
  • Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with sales, trade marketing, customer service & logistics, supply chain and Distributor teams to ensure seamless execution of Route to Consumer projects
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between different departments to maximize project success

PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND OPTIMIZATION

  • Continuously monitor the performance of RTC project initiatives and performance to provide proactive corrective actions where necessary
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for adjustments and improvements

REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION

  • Lead weekly RTC Project meeting (working session)
  • Prepare bi-weekly RTC project update meeting reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing project status, results, and key insights
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, and budgets

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • Structured methodology, create and implement strategies to effectively manage change on the new way of working related to RTC projects
  • Develop customized processes that meet the specific needs of different teams and projects
  • Resolve conflicts and addressing resistance among stakeholders and colleagues
  • Collaborate with Sales Capability team to provide training and communication to support the change process and ensure alignment and engagement

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 3–4 years of proven experience in a relevant or related field
  • Project Management experience and skills
  • A broad-based commercial/sales background, with extensive knowledge gained from working in several roles in different functions
  • Excellent time management and demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize
  • High level of organization and detail-orientation
  • Strong experience of proposing a business case of a brand-new project.
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analysing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
  • Experiences in working with multiple stake holders and managing expectation.
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly gain a conceptual understanding of a complex situation and establish immediate credibility
  • Ability to create visually appealing designs, presentations
  • Fluent in both oral and written English
