ROLE PURPOSE

The Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for creating user-centered, visually appealing, and functional digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role will work closely with product owners, developers, business stakeholders, and creative teams to understand user needs, translate requirements into intuitive designs, and improve overall customer satisfaction through effective user interface and user experience solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and gather insights to understand user behavior and business needs.
• Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications.
• Ensure consistency of design standards through design systems, style guides, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Perform usability testing and collect feedback to continuously improve product experiences.
• Translate complex requirements into simple, user-friendly solutions.
• Prepare design assets and specifications for handoff to development teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Support branding consistency across digital products when required.
• Manage multiple design tasks while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Knowledge & Skills

Essential 

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, human-centered design, and usability standards.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and responsive UI designs.
• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
• Good understanding of web/mobile design guidelines (iOS, Android, Responsive Web).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Desirable

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development process.
• Experience with motion design or micro-interactions.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven design decisions.
• Experience in banking, fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise platforms.

Education & Special Training

Essential 

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, IT, Multimedia, or related field.

Desirable

• Professional certification in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Product Design.
• Additional training in UX research, accessibility, or service design.

Experience 

Essential  

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products.
• Proven portfolio showcasing UI design process and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with developers and product teams.

Desirable

• Experience in Agile / Scrum working environment.
• Experience leading projects or mentoring junior designers.
• Experience managing design systems across multiple products.

Languages

• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
