ROLE PURPOSE

FX Dealer is responsible for executing and managing foreign exchange transactions, providing competitive rates to clients, engaging in interbank and CBM dealings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role reports daily rate setting, customer communication, and accurate deal execution to optimize profitability and manage currency risk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Nostro Management

• Check out the information from other departments regarding the outgoing fund and usage as per business requirement.
• Entry in Opics system buy/sell (same & cross) FX (USD/SGD/CNY/THB etc.)
• Transfer nostro balance to necessary banks for TT and LC obligations.

FX Report

• Reporting FX updates, blotters, and nostro balance to relevant departments.
• Collecting financial documents from the branches by email and sharing them to the respective departments.
• Mail to relevant departments for Money Changer rates and online trading platforms data.
• Provide Migrant payment and utilized report to CBM matching with relevant departments.

FX Spot Interbank Dealing

• Contact other banks for interbank FX spot deals.
• Share and confirm rates (via Refinitiv, email, etc.)
• Entry Opics deal and notify Treasury Operations for transaction completion and SWIFT settlement coordination.

FX Forward & Swap Dealing (Customer & Interbank)

• Review rates for various tenors and conduct trades.
• Prepare FX Master Agreements, Risk Disclosure, and trade confirmations.
• Perform deal entries, settlements, and CBM reporting.
• Respond to CBM inquiries related to FX Forward and Swap deals.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain strong relationships and collaboration with the business of RMs and other bank dealers.
• Provide inter-bank dealings, SWIFT messages, and deal tickets for reporting purposes and assist in interbank FX dealing with the other banks.

Education & Special Training

• Any graduate.
• Microsoft office in advanced.
• Prefer for any bachelor from institute of Economic.

Experience

• Above 3 years in FX & international banking.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX) products, currency pairs, and interbank FX transactions.
• Proficiency in using FXT (Refinitiv Workspace) for currency trading, market monitoring, and transaction processing.
• Understanding of Nostro account and fund management.
• Ability to analyze FX market trends and maintain accurate FX transaction data and reports for decision-making and regulatory purposes.

Languages

• Fluent in English and Myanmar.
