-A Steward Supervisor is responsible for carrying out storeroom and kitchen inspections to make sure that they are clean and in good order.
-He also keeps an inventory of the food supplies and ensures that at any given time there are enough supplies to facilitate the smooth running of the services.
-He also supervises all incoming orders and ensures that all purchases which are needed are delivered in the quantities that are required.
-He ensures that there is no wastage and theft as well as the hotel supplies.
-To make sure all cold rooms are cleaned
-Ensuring the stewarding department has the appropriate cleaning schedules for daily, weekly, monthly programs, including night cleaning, deep cleaning cold rooms, and fridges.
-To ensure working areas clean and tidy as and when they arrived. Manage or maintain cleanliness of all kitchen outlets. Plan yours and subordinate week duties allowing adequate time to train and develop your subordinates.
-Understanding the duties concerning discipline in the work environment.
-Have the basic knowledge with regard to the overall cleaning operation.
-Should be able to solve problems and handle all situations that could arise in the workplace.
-Quality ambassador of the department
-Seeks guidance and support in order to ensure that all the standards are implemented and maintained at all times.
-Ensures that all emergency equipment is in perfect condition.
-Report maintenance request to relevant department within the set procedure and follow up through appropriate channels.
-Facilitates the training and career development culture in the department
-Ensures all Hilton Icons and Brand standards are compiled to and reviewed on a regular basis
-Ensures a 100% consistency in Brand Service Standard delivery in all areas and reviews on a regular basis
-Ensures Safety & Security for all Guests and Team Members alike as per CHAS program
-Is familiar with all Risk management and emergency producers of the hotel and fulfils his duties accordingly
-To provide direction and support to the team on a daily basis.
-To keep excellent relationships with the team, peers, and all other team members of the hotel.
-To develop all team members of the department with appropriate training and coaching.
-Conducts and facilitates the Team Member Performance review process
-Is familiar with all HR policies and procedures and embraces such in the department
-Coaches and councils team members.

Need to have friendly, teamwork, leadership skills. Can do attitude.
