MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1. Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Phase Electrical & Systems Maintenance: Perform the permit to works and lock out tag out system for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low-voltage (LV) and de-energized high-voltage (HV) equipment, power inverters, transformers, and control systems. Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM plans across the entire plant, including solar PV arrays, string boxes, switchgear, air conditioning units, and general utility systems for plant facilities and staff accommodations. Facility & Utility Care: Oversee basic mechanical, HVAC, and civil/facility repairs across the plant site to ensure continuous operational capability. Spare Parts & Procurement: Assist in tracking inventory, managing spare parts, and preparing procurement requests for tools, equipment, and consumables. Rapid Response: Respond promptly to system alerts, service requests, and unexpected outages; troubleshoot root causes and provide reliable estimates for repairs. Improvement: Drive continuous equipment improvement and trip reduction projects to eliminate recurring machine failures, lower maintenance costs, and ensure uninterrupted operations. To respond in a timely fashion to breakdown conditions and work in such a way as to minimize downtime. 2. Construction & Expansion Support Site Supervision & Quality Support: Assist in monitoring Phase 2 construction activities, wiring, panel assembly, and infrastructure installation to ensure alignment with engineering standards. Testing & Commissioning: Participate in field inspections, string testing, insulation resistance testing, and pre-commissioning checks for newly installed Phase 2 equipment. Interface & Transition: Help bridge the transition from Phase 2 construction to full O&M integration by updating equipment lists, single-line diagrams, and maintenance logs 3. Safety, Quality & General Site Support EHS & Quality Standards: Play an active role in adhering to company safety regulations, Environmental Management (ISO 14001 equivalent), and Quality Management policies. Site Housekeeping: Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas across the solar field, substations, and workshop facilities. Team Collaboration: Provide work direction or guidance to junior technicians/contractors and perform other cross-functional duties as assigned by Management
Business Development and Strategic Support: Assist in implementing business strategies aimed at financial and market growth. Project Implementation and Planning: Support the Employer in the implementation, planning, and construction phases of both existing and new projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Operational and Construction Support: Assist in providing operational support to internal engineering teams, EPC contractors, subcontractors, third-party engineers, and other related parties on-site Project Management: To assist in planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Cross-Functional Coordination: Assist in coordinating liaising, delegating with various business units, including overseas personnel, engineering teams, operations teams, banks, financial institutions throughout the different stages of the development of the project. Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Support the coordination and management of third-party vendors and subcontractors involved in the project’s feasibility, design, implementation, and construction. Data Analysis: Analyze market trends and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and informed decision-making. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business performance, operational efficiency, and project status for senior management. Assist in administrative tasks as requested by the Management Nurture existing relationships as well as creating new ones and to work closely with governmental agencies (i.e: Public Sector) as well as with the private sector. Must be able to travel abroad and in Myanmar, any time, without prior notice as needed and instructed by the Management.

Monitor, inspect, adjust, and control all power production, auxiliary, and facility equipment to assure safe, legal, continuous, and efficient operation, keeping plant emissions and effluents within limits. Taking action necessary to prevent any environmental or production excursions. Continually check all phases of the operation for difficulties or irregularities, troubleshooting as necessary. Report discrepancies in operation and/or conditions in a timely manner to the Shift Leader. Maintain optimum level of operation and energy production. Provide general directions to subordinate classifications. Assist in directing and training others in the inspection, repair, and operation of the facility. Assist in the training of new or potential outside operators. Communicate effectively and accurately using both oral and written methods of communication. Maintain journals, logs, and various reports. Adhere lock-out tag-out, confined space entry, and welding permit policies. Look for ways to improve the plant's efficiency. Perform operational maintenance repairs, where qualified, and assist others making repairs to all equipment. Make rounds of plant as per the Shift Leader instructions.
