An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Monitor, inspect, adjust, and control all power production, auxiliary, and facility equipment to assure safe, legal, continuous, and efficient operation, keeping plant emissions and effluents within limits. Taking action necessary to prevent any environmental or production excursions.
Continually check all phases of the operation for difficulties or irregularities, troubleshooting as necessary.
Report discrepancies in operation and/or conditions in a timely manner to the Shift Leader.
Maintain optimum level of operation and energy production.
Provide general directions to subordinate classifications.
Assist in directing and training others in the inspection, repair, and operation of the facility. Assist in the training of new or potential outside operators.
Communicate effectively and accurately using both oral and written methods of communication.
Maintain journals, logs, and various reports.
Adhere lock-out tag-out, confined space entry, and welding permit policies.
Look for ways to improve the plant's efficiency.
Perform operational maintenance repairs, where qualified, and assist others making repairs to all equipment.
Make rounds of plant as per the Shift Leader instructions.
Look for ways to improve the plant's efficiency.
Strive to improve knowledge of this plant and power plants in general.
Keep equipment rooms and Assist with plant housekeeping at all times.

Job Requirements

Must be able and willing to work in shifts, including day and night shifts
Preferably age 25 years up
At least Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering is desirable, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Minimum One years’ experience in power generation industry, or process plant operations in supervisory capacity.
Possess proven exceptional interpersonal skills required to productively communicate, collaborate, negotiate to reach consensus.
Proven ability to work independently and under pressure, while using good judgment, when making Program related decisions that drive Project Delivery forward.
Ability to maneuver in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment.
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Strong collaboration working as teamwork, problem solving and organization skills.
Must have good knowledge of instruments and controls, basic electricity and power plant theory.
