The Investment Analyst supports the Investment team with research, financial modelling, portfolio monitoring and planning. The role is hands-on and broad, covering both new deals and existing investments. Key Responsibilities Research & Screening Conduct sector, company and market research on potential and existing investments. Prepare concise briefing notes and summaries for the team. Financial Modelling & Valuation Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, DCF, returns analysis, scenarios). Perform valuations using DCF, trading and transaction comparables and other relevant methods. Deal Evaluation & Support Analyse investment opportunities and prepare investment memos and presentations. Assist in deal structuring and return analysis under different capital and payout structures. Support due diligence work (data review, Q&A, stress testing assumptions). Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting Maintain the portfolio register and key data for all investments. Review financial and KPI reports from portfolio companies and external managers. Produce periodic portfolio dashboards and written commentary on performance and risks. Planning & FP&A Support Assist in preparation of budgets and medium-term plans for investments and group level. Perform variance and scenario analysis and highlight key drivers and issues. Help standardize templates and reports used for various reports.
