A Project Engineer (Fit Out Control) is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and inspecting tenant fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved designs, landlord guidelines, and safety standards. This role involves close monitoring of construction activities, enforcing health and safety regulations, maintaining proper documentation, and providing regular reports to management. 1. Coordination & Supervision Oversee tenant fit-out activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings. Ensure compliance with landlord’s interior fit-out guidelines, building rules, and safety standards. Brief tenant contractors on house rules, working hours, and site safety requirements. Coordinate with contractors to minimize disturbance to other tenants. 2. Technical Inspection Inspect partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, and carpentry works for quality and compliance. Verify that modifications do not affect building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety). Identify non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly. 3. Compliance & Documentation Review tenant submissions including drawings, method statements, and material samples. Maintain documentation of all approvals, inspections, and communications. Issue inspection reports and defect lists when necessary. Collect as-built drawings and project close-out documents. 4. Health, Safety & Quality Control Enforce compliance with PPE requirements and site safety rules. Monitor waste management, noise levels, and housekeeping at work sites. Keep the stability and completeness of the Centre property in general and Engineering in specially. Responsible for repair and maintain of all Aircondition system, supply & ventilation system equipment and minor installations. To assist in all general works of the department as required. To ensure maintenance orders are finished on duties.
