General Manager (GM) – Job Description Position Overview The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic direction, and financial performance of the organization. Financial Management Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning. Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability. Approve major expenditures and optimize cost efficiency. 4. Team Leadership & HR Oversight Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and employees. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and staff development. Foster a positive and high-performance organizational culture. 5. Sales & Business Development Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. 6. Stakeholder Management Act as the key point of contact for investors, partners, and stakeholders. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership or board members. 7. Risk & Compliance Management Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals Oversee full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes Manage employee performance appraisal systems and KPI frameworks Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices Lead compensation & benefits planning, payroll coordination, and salary reviews Identify training needs and implement staff development programs Supervise HR team and administrative functions Maintain HR records, reports, and documentation (contracts, attendance, leave, etc.) Support organizational development, restructuring, and culture building initiatives
Financial Management Oversee daily accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Flow Management . Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports . Monitor financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records. 2. Financial Reporting Prepare and present financial statements, profit & loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow reports . Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management for decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies . 3. Budgeting & Forecasting Develop annual budget plans and financial forecasts . Monitor departmental budgets and control expenses. Provide cost analysis and financial recommendations. 4. Tax & Compliance Ensure compliance with local tax laws and government regulations . Prepare and submit tax filings, commercial tax, income tax, and other statutory requirements . Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions. 5. Team Management Supervise and guide the accounting team (Senior Accountant, Jr Accountant, Cashier, etc.) . Assign tasks and ensure work accuracy and efficiency. Train and develop accounting staff. 6. Internal Control & Risk Management Establish and maintain internal financial control systems . Monitor financial risks and recommend improvements. Ensure proper documentation and financial procedures. 7. Coordination & Support Work closely with management, operations, and other departments . Support strategic planning and business expansion decisions with financial insights.
Supervise, coach, and motivate Sales Executives on a daily basis Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets for real estate projects Oversee lead management, site visits, negotiations, and deal closing processes Support the sales team in handling customer enquiries and objections Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports Coordinate with the Marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and events Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies Handle customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction Ensure compliance with company sales policies, SOPs, and ethical standards Conduct on-site supervision during project launches, site visits, and promotions
