Job Purpose We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable MIS & Data Support Assistant to support the daily upkeep of our school Management Information System (MIS) – SIMS, assist with termly reports, and ensure data accuracy across key school platforms, including Google Workspace, and Excel/Google Sheets. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong written English skills, and the ability to work with confidential data. This position is ideal for someone with strong proficiency in IT systems who enjoys working with data and educational technology. Key Responsibilities and Duties Assist with the daily maintenance of the school’s MIS (SIMS) and other linked systems. Manage user accounts within the MIS, including adding/removing users and maintaining accurate records. Support the preparation and generation of reports, particularly termly academic reports. Assist with managing and maintaining user accounts across Google Workspace, and other school platforms. Ensure data accuracy and integrity, handling highly confidential information with care. Troubleshoot minor system issues and liaise with IT colleagues to resolve problems. Support staff with queries related to system access, data entry, and report generation. Assist in training staff on the use of SIMS and other relevant systems. Use formulas in Excel/Google Sheets to structure and analyse data as required
