The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy and execution for the company’s nutritional supplement portfolio in Myanmar. The role drives brand growth, consumer demand, and market share through integrated ATL & BTL marketing initiatives, market insights, new product launches, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, trade marketing, ethical marketing, and principal teams. The position also ensures strong alignment across consumer, healthcare professional, and trade channels to achieve business objectives and sustainable growth. Develop and implement overall marketing strategies and annual brand plans to achieve business growth objectives Lead and oversee ATL & BTL marketing campaigns, consumer activations, and brand communication initiatives Manage external agencies and ensure effective execution of marketing activities across all channels Drive market research, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and U&A studies to support strategic decision-making Lead new product development (NPD), product launches, and portfolio expansion initiatives Collaborate with Ethical Marketing team to support healthcare professional engagement and aligned brand messaging Work closely with Trade Marketing and Sales teams on trade promotions, demand generation programs, and retail visibility initiatives Support product and brand training programs for Product Advisors, Medical Representatives, and Sales Teams Coordinate with principal teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Project team for campaign execution and new product introduction Develop, manage, and monitor annual marketing budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources and optimal return on investment (ROI) Track and evaluate marketing spend, campaign performance, and cost efficiency against approved budgets and business objectives Prepare business updates, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team to build strong organizational capabilities and performance culture
Collaborates with the GM or BDM and Principals for the ideation, planning & budgeting, production and Implementation of all in store activities, including point of sales materials and promotions Plan & Deploy Full Year and Quarterly Marketing Plans Collaborates with principals and marketing team to build sales promotions and product communication Collaborates with sales teams to turn the “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively Analyzes & Reviews the results of activities and to provide recommendations and forecasts. Plan 12 Months sales forecast and rolling forecast with Supply chain team. Supports Branch & SD teams in the execution of the activities and in achieving their sales and budget objectives, Supports local teams (sales teams) in the execution of their training programs Ensures efficient spending of the Trade Marketing budget
Prepare and calculate monthly Commercial Tax (CT) and Income Tax (IT) ,Capital Gains Tax(CGT) in compliance with local tax laws. Issue Form 31 to customers on time. Request and Follow up Form 31 from local supplier on time. Prepare and organize documents including general ledgers, invoices, bank statements, and payment evidence. Assist with tax reconciliations with general ledger accounts. Knowledge of IRD Tax Notifications, and Union Tax Laws (latest updates). Experience in communicating with the IRD(Internal Revenue Department) Prepare and organize documents for IRD tax audits.(if needed) Able to use Excel (including formulas, pivot tables) ,accounting software and using email Report to Assistant Account Executive
