Myanmar Studies Teacher Responsibilities: Develop and Deliver Lesson Plans Plan, develop, and evaluate lessons for basic computer, keyboard, and internet skills for students in Kindergarte-2 through Grade 6 Develop innovative lessons to challenge learners that include differentiation techniques and integrate core content objectives Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, projects, etc. Participation in the ASA program as a faculty club sponsor or sports coach Classroom Management Promote a positive learning environment that includes behavioral management techniques appropriate to the needs of all students Internet Safety Teach internet safety including personal responsibility for technology use Be aware of and monitor internet usage for students as outlined by Yangon American’s Acceptable Use Policy Academic Support Work collaboratively with the other staff members in the building to assist them with educational technology needs Collaborate with the building principal and curriculum coordinator on technology updates Perform duties assigned by the administration Keep abreast of developments in the technology field by reading literature/journals, talking with colleagues, and professional development Community Support Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Assist students in connecting to technological principles in the real world

1. Core Task Working with the class teacher to plan and monitor the class lessons and schedules Supervision of an assigned student or students for the purpose of academic and behavior intervention Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment. Revising lesson material with students individually or in small groups. Ensuring the classroom en vironment is safe and clean. Overseeing students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch, and on-field excursions. Collaborating with lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions. Help students adjust, learn, and socialize and report to teachers about possible behavioral issues Documenting student progress and communicating with class teacher and curriculum coordinator. Helping class teachers to create lesson plans and track student attendance. Complying with state, school, and class rules and regulations Attending all training classes, parent conferences, and faculty meetings if necessary Plan and deliver Myanmar language class Perform supervisory duties as needed and assigned Incorporates the PYP framework into the classroom management and academic support. Creative conceptualizing and planning Participate in Creative Conceptualizing with the team, generate ideas and visual concepts Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and deadlines for multiple creative-related projects . Creative development Take overall responsibility for all online and offline creatives including social media design, website design, email templates, illustrations, banners, photo retouching etc. Ensure all creatives produced meets the brand guideline, a high standard of visual execution across all communication platforms and the deadline Delivering excellent result Get creatives reviewed by supervisor and requestors to ensure they are satisfied with the work created Assisting the creative project which indirectly related Assist with other creative-related projects such as photo shooting, as needed.
