Key Responsibilities: Product Development Leadership: Lead the development of new products including skincare, hair care, body care, and hygiene items Supervise formulation & process from concept to commercialization Evaluate competitor trends and review for new product development Project Management: Plan and manage project timelines, resources Coordinate with internal departments (Marketing, Production, QA/QC, marketing) to ensure timely product launch Manage multiple product development simultaneously Technical insight: Guide formulation strategies by using available and cost-effective ingredients Manage lab-scale, pilot, and full-scale production trials Solve formulation & product issues and provide technical support to cross functional teams Innovation & Improvement: Identify new raw materials and processes to improve product quality or reduce costs Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in performing product testing such as physical, chemical properties (e.g. pH, viscosity, microbiological, etc) Document and analyze test results, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards Support troubleshooting of formulation or production issues Regulatory & Documentation: Maintain R&D documentation such as formulation records, batch sheets, and test reports and ensure proper labeling Support in preparing documentation for product registration and other requirements Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Marketing teams Assist in scale-up trials and production trial if require
