2020 was a challenging year in many ways for both employers and job seekers. Each and every one of us had to make significant changes in the way we did things to adapt to the “new normal”. The rapid transition to a near 100% online workplace was a challenge for many, and it was no different for JobNet.
It was indeed a challenge for JobNet, but that did not hinder us from striving to provide the best solutions to all our clients and job seekers who rely on our platform and expertise. Despite a lot of challenges, we are proud to share that JobNet.com.mm was the most visited job search portal in Myanmar for 4 years in a row, at a truly impressive 7 million website sessions from 01 January to 31 December.
NUMBER OF NEW JOBS POSTED
Over 12,000 new job advertisements were posted in 2020, amounting to over 18,000 open vacancies for candidates.
CVs UNLOCKED
Over 19,000 senior candidates were headhunted directly by employers who have access to the JobNet CV database.
NUMBER OF NEW JOB APPLICATIONS
We received over 1.3 million new job applications in total in 2020, offering the widest choice of candidates to all employers.
COMPANY PROFILE VIEWS
Job Seekers are actively seeking out employers in 2020. We had over 438,000 views in total for all company profile pages on the JobNet website. This signifies the importance of a strong company profile page to attract more qualified candidates to your team.
NUMBER OF NEW JOBSEEKERS REGISTERED
A total of 109,739 new job seekers registered to JobNet.com.mm in the last 12 months. This shows the steady pace of digitization in the HR and recruitment processes in Myanmar. Job seekers are more than ready to let go of the old ways of finding jobs by scrolling hours and hours through job pages on Facebook!
NUMBER OF ACTIVE CLIENTS
In 2020, JobNet had a total of 868 companies actively recruiting on our platform, making it the most widely used online recruitment portal in Myanmar.
NUMBER OF ONLINE SALARY SURVEY
A total of 108 companies participated in JobNet's Online Salary Survey in 2020.
