The candidate we are looking for is for a wine bar in Dawei ( Taninthayi Region ) : the concept is around serving a specific selection of Myanmar foods twisted in a way that fits well with wine, both white and red. A selection of western dishes and fusion dishes mixing both western influences and Myanmar traditional foods are also intended to be part of the menu.

The idea is to cater for:
• Myanmar nationals and introduce them to something new (wine) while giving them a sense of comfort by serving dishes they know, but with that twist that make them fit wine;
• Foreigners looking for a modern place to change from traditional restaurants, serving Myanmar foods (though twisted) and western dishes.

We also serve cocktails, beers and other alcoholic beverages.

The bar is completed and only soft opened; it is located on the first floor of a new shopping mall in the new town of Dawei, overlooking the Dawei River; it is accessible both through outdoor stairs (night access) as well as through the shopping mall. It is an open bar in the sense that there is a wide roof, but no wall to the river outside, allowing the breeze and the air from outside to penetrate the bar. Additional fans complement the natural breeze.

At present, the bar is the most modern, comfortable & beautifully decorated restaurant and bar in Dawei and the one that opens the latest at night in the whole town, so we have some visitors despite the menu and operational issues not being finalized, and the place not being Grand Opened yet.

• Preferably with experience abroad; ideally we would be looking for a repatriated Myanmar coming back from Thailand with the intention to use his experience in the F&B industry in Thailand in an outlet in his country;
• Knowledge of both Myanmar and western cuisines;
• Someone who is creative and demonstrates a sense of perfectionism;
• Willingness to work and live in Dawei
