Job Purpose
The Data Analyst is responsible for developing performance reports through the collection and analysing of all aspects of data sources to formulate clear and concise customers’ and suppliers’ behaviour and trends insight as well as company’s operation performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with various departments to formulate and gather data and information on customers and suppliers’ behaviour and trends.
• Develop performance reports from the data provided by various departments and analyse the reports to uncover patterns, trends, preferences of customers and suppliers.
• Provide performance reports and dashboard on all aspects of the company’s operation to the management for strategic planning.
• Apply statistical tools/models to perform advanced data analytics, identify key underlying drivers for improving the operation and growing the business.
• Perform deep-dive analysis to solve various business problems arising from operational activities or processes.
• Oversee the data governance culture through working with various departments to ensure accuracy of data collected and develop proper data controls policies.
• Maintain the master data set including creation, updates and deletion.
• Develop and generate ad-hoc performance or business reports as and when required by the management.

Job Specifications
• Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics with strong numeracy skills.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience working as a data analyst.
• Must be able to handle large data sets with strong analytical skills to translate business problems and requirements into analytics solutions.
• Excellent computer literacy especially with MS Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint.
• Must be a team player and confident to make presentation to top management.
• Ability to communicate in English is an added advantage.
