Overall Responsibilities : Monitor and Maintain all related DC Operation and NOC Operation.


Key Areas of Accountability:

• Manage and Maintain DC Facilities Equipment and manage daily NOC operation. Troubleshoot basic computer desktop and application related issues.
• Troubleshoot problems arising from the malfunction of the servers and applications in the DC.
• Follow up with vendors to insure issues are resolved.
• Supporting server and application upgrades and other technical issues related to DC.
• Support the introduction of new technology by working with contractors and project managers that are implementing new technology or introducing new or enhanced applications in the DC.
• Monitor the application of OS and application patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and identify issues. Support the introduction of new services in DC as needed such as chat or email services.
• Monitoring and reporting about unusually instances to relevant persons and HOD.
• Coordinate with vendors who are working DC.

• Very strong knowledge in Physical and Virtual Environment
• Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant IT working experience
• Familiar with process landscape in IT operational environment (e.g. Helpdesk, Change Management, Services Level, Authorization, Storage Management etc.)
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers/principals to find suitable products and form better/strategic relationships.

Skills and Competencies Requirements:

• Knowledge of Monitoring Tools.
• Knowledge of Virtual and Physical OS (MS & Linux)
• Prefer understanding SIEM Reporting Tools
• Provides DC operations and NOC system troubleshooting and support
• Possess Network knowledge and DC
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
• Understanding Power management & Assessments.
• Data Centre cooling systems and Data Center monitoring tools, electrical power supply and distribution systems including standby generators and fuel storage.
• Understanding of fire alarms, fire detection and protection systems, including gaseous and sprinklers.


Experiences and Educational Requirements:

• Master/Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in ICT.
