Job Description

- The job holder is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all the legal affairs of the company.
- Draft, review and negotiate all contracts and legal documents which the company proposes to enter
- Draft, review and advise on the internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance
- Oversee compliance and corporate governance issues, advise the management on the regulatory and compliance matters, including identify the areas of risk and making suggestions for improvement
- Coordinate and manage the external counsel and litigation, handle the disputes
- Liaise with relevant government agencies and
- Conduct legal research and legal training
- Provides effective support to compliance office for the internal management of compliance
- Perform various duties assigned by the management or the regional legal department

Job Requirements

- Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements in terms of work experience and educational background to be eligible.
- At least Bachelor's degree in law
- At least five years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Demonstrate experience for contract negotiation, litigation and interaction with the government department
- Good relationship management and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Myanmar law and compliance issue
- Able to communicate in English
- Integrity, team work spirit, able to work under pressure
