• Handle the relationship with the clients with daily communication and frequent meetings about the on-going projects



• Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media



• Participate in the weekly meetings with other agency’s managers



• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media



• Develop relationships with national and regional press contacts to ensure the company’s clients reputation is promoted and to deflect criticism



• Create effective communication channels


• Manage media inquiries and interview requests
 


• Manage the flow of news about the organisation to the media
 


• Create content for press releases, media kits, press learning sessions, byline articles and keynote presentations



• Gather and disseminate timely information to press and staff



• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate
 


• Enhance effectiveness of press and publicity function
 


• Plan and oversee press events
 


• Detect public relations issues as they emerge and address them directly 


• Prepare drafts of PR materials such as: Press Releases, Press Kits, Briefing Books etc. 
 


• Research and write briefing materials
 


• Assemble press kits

• Successful candidates should have at least two years experience in the PR industry in Myanmar or abroad

• As the working language is english that you would have to work with our international clients, your english skills need to be excellent
