ROLE PURPOSE 

Yoma Bank is recruiting a talented Marketing Communications Manager to join its very dynamic Marketing and Communications Department. The Manager in the Marketing department is responsible for developing the strategy, creative, communication, and ideation within the department. This role plays a critical role in driving the bank’s marketing initiatives and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The primary purpose of this position is to drive and supervise a diverse team of professionals to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that enhance the bank’s brand, drive customer engagement, and achieve goals. The role will plan, design, develop and manage marketing and communications campaigns while liaising with Product Teams and dealing with PR, marketing agencies and the media.  

 

Key Responsibilities  

As one of the lead members of IMC Team, this role will work closely within the Marketing Department as well as with the Product Teams based on the assigned product and services. He/ She will be involved in the creative development and execution of promotional campaigns for Yoma Bank’s product and services across all consumer touchpoints including traditional and non-traditional mediums: TV/Film, OLV, OOH, Radio, Digital, Social in partnership with key stakeholders within the marketing and brand ecosystem. IMC Manager will collaborate with multiple cross-functional departments including Technology, Product, Social and Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing to plan, deliver fully integrated and strategic marketing campaigns. He/ She will contribute to the building of a high-performance team by helping to grow digital marketing expertise of team members while maintaining an open and collaborative team culture. 

He/ She will be responsible for the content production, creative development, strategic execution and management of integrated strategic marketing communications campaigns for Yoma Bank’s product and services across all consumer touch-points including online & offline activities in the earned and non-paid media space and channels. 

 

Strategy Development, Planning and Execution:  

  • Drive the IMC planning process to deliver the business objectives working with internal stakeholders and agency partners. 
  • Deliver strong insights that results in relevant, and resonating solves (to tensions) reflecting  the role of Brand (Purpose and Value Proposition), products and services. 
  • Implement frameworks, checklists, and calendar of content for action and evaluating the effectiveness of communication activities 
  • Meet potential partners/media for marketing collaboration and create promotion ideas 

  • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging 

  • Plan, maintain budget and manage payment related process 

  • Work with Social/Digital Team to monitor and improve the whole CX process 

  • Work together with the Events Team to coordinate seminars, events, and launches 

  • Develop a deep understanding of emerging business / market trends, technologies, business intelligence and competitive threats to share back with the business and ensure strategy is aligned 

  • Collaborate with other teams to improve the CX process through social media, seminars, events, and launches  

  • Identify and manage agencies, campaigns, media, and audiences effectively for Brand Positioning 

  • Coordinate selection process and manage relationships of agency and production Companies 

  • Manage ad hoc tasks and coordinate high traffic of projects

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications  

  • A minimum of 5 ~ 8 years’ professional marketing agency experience in marketing or integrated marketing communications with key responsibilities in brand management  

  • Experience working with marketing research, marketing strategy, and developing and managing large-scale, multifaceted integrated marketing programs   

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple people, processes and projects in a complex environment is required 

  • Drive the marketing strategic planning process to deliver business objectives through a collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as agency partners 

  • Deliver strong relevant insights that results in effective, and resonating solves (to tensions) reflecting the role of Brand (Purpose and Value Proposition), products and services

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and linking the various stakeholders for alignment of campaign timelines and deliverables  

  • Ability to design IMC/GTM Plans

  • Ability to manage Agencies as well as diverse working teams  

  • Ability to communicate the value of a product or service with excellent knowledge of communication, and marketing principles.  

  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously (Highly developed project management skills)  

  • Review, draft and/or edit written content in English and Myanmar professionally

  • Ability to identify and oversee strategies for engaging with multiple audiences through a variety of internet and mobile communication platforms by staying current on industry and social media trends  

  • Ability to create presentations using PowerPoint, present, evaluate, and transform market research data and analytics

  • Fluency in English and Myanmar  

  • Excellent writing skills in English and Myanmar
