Job Purpose (Summary of what the job exists to accomplish)
Develop RE Strategies and 5P’s based on Category and Brand Strategies and on robust RE, shopper and customer insights.
Work closely with both retail shopper Marketing and Customer Management to develop strategies and tactics to grow business in the specific REs.
Provide input on RE/Customers perspective in commercial process.

Own monthly CBP discipline process (RE perspective).

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
1. Identify, prioritize Shopper/RE Insights for specific RE (to be expert in the RE)
2. Develop RE Strategy and 5Ps by RE bases in RE and shopper expertise/insights
3. Adapt category promotion activity grid by RE and identify activities to grow the RE and customer
4. Adapt GTM plan by RE including selling story and 5Ps
5. Define the GTN investment guidelines for the RE
6. Develop 5P’s communication tools to CDT to execute the plans
7. Analyze and plan to address gaps and opportunity from 5P tracking
8. Work with Retail shopper marketing / Consumer Marketing to develop growth strategy , identify and lead RE Growth initiatives including shopper programs
9. Own RE perspective (identify gaps and solutions), within the monthly CBP discipline process
10. Develop robust RE Business analysis (e.g. SOM, Dist.) to be the expert on the business by RE
11. Lead regular ROI and ROO review
12. Develop and deliver RCD services to customers (category knowledge, category optimization and joint category planning) *
13. Define Budget Review/MYR volume plan & Financial Goals by RE aligned with commercial team **
14. Ensure proper communication of all plans/programs to the customers / distributors
15. Ensure promotion and spending by the distributors / customers in line with agreed and approved plans

Job Requirements

Experience
Essential: Trade Marketing / Shopper Development experience in FMCG sector

Desirable: Channel / Category Management experience in indirect trade

No. of yrs of Exp reqd.: 6-8 yrs of managerial experience

Professional Qualifications & Training
Essential: PG diploma in Business Management – specialization in Sales & Marketing
Minimum bachelor degree

Desirable: Other qualifications in Sales and distribution management
English Language
