Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Our company is expanding on service team.

Sales and service engineers with a strong background and knowledge of computer systems and solutions especially Server and System Integration Environment. Candidate will work directly with the HP sales team to assist in qualifying customer technical needs, developing and presenting customer solutions, assisting with proposals and promoting HP technology to key customers.

As part of the sales force, a successful candidate should have the following abilities:
- Handle on hardware technical on Servers / Networking / Storage / Infrastructure / Solutioning / Point-of-Sale.
- Ability to conduct presentations on technical proposals ( for Pre-Sales / Sales Engineers )
- Manage maintenance contracts for corporate clients in various sectors – banks, government agencies, commercial, retail, etc.
- Familiar with the vendor’s software and hardware used by the customers.
- Maintain, organize, and repair hardware and software networks as needed.
- Basic installation and setups.
- Perform manual and automated tests of applications.
- Perform troubleshooting and analyze software behavior.
- Ability to work remotely with vendors’ service support team and fix on-site issues for the customers.
- Reporting of test results.
- On-site servicing and remote support for customers.
- Servicing Call Centre experience
- Maintaining an accurate log of necessary maintenance and repairs
- Offering suggestions about potential technology resources purchase
- Installing work stations and software. Linking and setting up hardware equipment
- Keeping track of computer security
- Setting up and organizing IP addresses
- Determining and preparing hardware equipment that needs to be replaced and ensuring that all equipment that is disposed of was properly checked and stripped of critical company information
- Deliver solutions with professionalism and high quality working standards / practices.
- Contribute to the quality and configuration management of internal process
- Possess good analytical capability, and ability and willingness to learn
- Possess good English communication skills
- Preferably engineers with existing professional certifications approved by HPE, Cisco and others ( applicable to Servers / Networking / Storage / Infrastructure / Solutioning / POS )
- Sales target-oriented. Key performance indicators applied to individuals as measurement of service performance.
- A team player.
- Occasional travelling may be required to support other service teams.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:
• At least, Graduated and Diploma in Computer Studies (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 2-4 years’ experience in solution selling and/or consultative selling (Depending on years of experience, senior positions will be considered.)
• Possess HPE Certifications will be an added advantage.
• Highly driven and self-motivated.
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written in Myanmar and English.
• Able to communicate effectively with vendors & customers from multi-cultural countries.
• Possess the high degree of integrity and confidentiality in the course of work with vendors & customers.
• Have strong interpersonal skills.
• Passion for sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office package, email and other social media platforms.
