About the Job: The Senior Accountant will be responsible mainly to assist the Head of Finance and Account in overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the financial transactions. As well as, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks plays in very crucial role.

Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Ensuring that daily cash books, vouchers and sale records are complied with DKT Financial policy and procedures by checking them daily basis
• Ensuring all the advance clearance and reimbursed expenses are processing in timely manner and all are complied with financial policy and procedure
• Verify, allocate and reconcile accounts payable and receivable in daily basis
• Conduct cash count by weekly basis
• Ensuring that all the financial records are kept in systematic order
• Check the validity of the payments in accordance with financial and procurement procedures
• Assist to Head of Finance and Account in tax audits and month/year-end closing process
• Assist to Head of Finance and Account in annual auditing processes and provide necessary documentations
• Ensure daily bank transactions and monthly exchange rate are regularly recorded for all banks
• Prepare bank reconciliation statement and adjusted journal voucher
• Ensure application request for international/national transfers
• Performing other tasks assigned by direct supervisor

• University Degree in Accounting (ACCA Part II and/or CPA is preferable.)
• Minimum 3-4 years' proven experience in related field (previous Sr. Accountant experience is preferable.)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages (e.g. SAP)
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Familiarity in general ledger functions and month/year-end close process
• Ability to use standard softwares (especially, Microsoft Excel in advance level)
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail
• Good interpersonal skill, negotiation and communication skill
• Good Command of writing and speaking in both English and Myanmar Languages
