POSITION PURPOSE
Senior Mobile App developer is responsible for leading app development team to contribute ios/android both back-end and front-end application development/configuration, product testing and Go-Live acitvites of new features and products of the Wave Money mobile financial services business. Working closely with other team leaders you will ensure the structured and coordinated planning of your team’s development, technical background and experience will ensure you can offer the support and guidance required being able to support and assist developers at code level.He/She ensure to collaborate with technology team and non-technology stakeholders with a strong focus on delivery, debugging, problem/issue solving, app related incident response & incident reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Design and build applications for the ios & android platform
• Participate in design reviews, contribute to document technical design and specification’s
• Ensuring non-regression when developing new features
• Participate and collaborating with technology team in project management,prodect delivery and QA
• Deliver MFS app platform requirements and associated eco-system to meet current and future business requirements
• Ability to prioritize team work through balancing both long and short term objectives.
• Communicate development status updates to product manager/owner
• Leading app deployment, product change and go-live activities success (this will involve regular participation in non-business hours operation)
• Ensure mobile app platform environment run smoothly with zero outage
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Lead & support maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Support app related incident response and report

• Education and qualifications: Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science or Technology
• Functional skills and knowledge areas:
• • 5+ years of Mobile Application Experience with ios & android development
• Excellent understanding of programming patterns and ability to architect elegant solutions to complex problems;
• Flexibility to deal with a rapidly changing environment;
• Understanding application security framework in mobile application development
• Passion for quality and maintainability of code.
• Expertise in one or more of the following: Java, iOS development (Swift, Objective C), Android development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
• Ability to influence without authority and lead and organize an agile team with a focus on results
• Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment that is going through high growth

• Experience in building applications that can handle Unicode/Zawgyi display
• Knowledge of ios & android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Excellent debugging skills to solve challenging problems and strong programming skills, designing & development with native and hybrid
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle , agile methodology is plus
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
• Experience with performance and memory tuning and familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Proper documentation and systematic archival of all project source codes
• Proven track record of managing technical teams and product delivery under tight deadlines.
