The role holder will be responsible for manage and support Payment Processing Section. The role holder will be also responsible for reconciliation of inter branch accounts, reconciliation of the respective GLs and bank statements, posting accounting and journal entries to all the branches and functions which be centralized from Finance Function to meet organizational requirements and objectives.

 To assist Head of Payment Processing in managing all the activities related to Payment Processing.
 Ensure that the Processes and Procedures as stated in the Policy and Standard Operation Procedures (‘SOP’) are being followed.
 Ensure that all authorized payments are made in a timely manner.
 Reconciliation of ledgers related to the Payment Processing.
 Making sure that Follow-up is in place for outstanding advances related to employees and suppliers.
 Support in the automation and digitalization initiatives related to the Payment Processing.
 To handle all responsibilities of managing the section in the absence of Head of section.
 Proper house-keeping of the books, records and filling.
 Follow up on procedures & ensure controls are efficient enough to prevent financial losses.
 Guide the subordinates to follow the Policy, Procedures in place and support them to be more efficient in their work.
 To carry out any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time by supervisor
 To assist and support the various digital business initiatives of the bank including but not limited to promotion of mobile wallets like KBZ pay etc

 Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
 Qualified/ Part-Qualified Chartered Accountant being holder of ACCA or equivalent
 Highly proficient Microsoft Office user especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
 At Least 5 years working experience in financial/ accounting/ and Payment Processing
