Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • Review systems installation designs (on paper)
  • Review actual systems installation (on site)
  • Generate technical specification and documentation
  • Design and develop new equipment and systems or redesign of existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers
  • Research and analyze customer needs and suggest product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Assist sales team in configuring the correct solutions for the customers
  • Study new products/technologies aligned with existing product lines to recommend enhancements or modifications
  • Assist sales team on product demonstrations/technical presentations to customers or at conferences to promote products and services
  • Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits
  • Run sample tests on instruments as and when needed (in-house or at customer sites)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing users
  • Provide training to customers in post-sales and method development

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic, Electrical Power or Mechanical Power).
  • Minimum one to two years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge in Engine, Generator and Power System Equipment.
  • Strong engineering knowledge in mechanical and electrical.
  • Demonstrate strong industry/market knowledge.
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken.
