Position Summary
The Architecture Manager is responsible for leading the architectural design, planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from concept through completion. The role ensures that all architectural works comply with project specifications, local regulations, quality standards, budget, and timeline while coordinating closely with consultants, contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Design Management
Lead architectural planning and design development.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Ensure designs meet client requirements and project objectives.
Coordinate design changes and value engineering initiatives.
Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups.
2. Project Management
Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Develop project execution plans.
Monitor project schedules and milestones.
Ensure projects are completed within approved budget and timeline.
Prepare project progress reports for senior management.
3. Construction
Supervise architectural works on-site.
Monitor workmanship and construction quality.
Ensure contractors follow approved drawings and specifications.
Resolve technical and design-related site issues.
Coordinate inspections and testing.

Coordinate closely with:
Structural Engineers
MEP Engineers
Quantity Surveyors
Contractors
Consultants
Interior Designers
Procurement Team

5. Quality Assurance & Quality Control
Establish QA/QC procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections.
Ensure compliance with architectural standards.
Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Ensure corrective actions are implemented.
6. Contract Administration
Review consultant and contractor contracts.
Evaluate variation orders.
Assess extension of time (EOT) requests.
Review payment certifications.
Monitor contract compliance.
7. Budget & Cost Control
Review architectural BOQs.
Monitor architectural costs.
Recommend cost-saving solutions.
Participate in tender evaluations.
Support procurement activities.
8. Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
Local Building Codes
Fire Safety Regulations
Environmental Standards
Accessibility Standards
Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
9. Stakeholder Management
Attend client meetings.
Coordinate consultant meetings.
Present project updates.
Manage client expectations.
Resolve project-related issues.

Lead the architectural team.
Mentor junior architects.

Promote continuous improvement.
