Position Purpose

This role will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. It requires a strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant purchasing and sourcing concepts.

Key Result Areas

• Lead the execution of local sourcing projects that deliver a competitive advantage to business. This includes leading and supporting supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.
• Develop relationships with requestors to ensure they are following the preferred Commodity strategy which meets their requirements.
• Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced services meet the needs of the business.
• Support key projects/contract negotiations, engaging with key stakeholders (e.g. Commodity Leaders, key operational stakeholders) and help prepare statements of work.
• Drive the seamless execution of projects and effective management of suppliers through the entire project lifecycle, from project identification to project implementation. This includes ongoing local supplier relationship management including spend analysis, supplier development, supplier risk, performance, compliance, and surveillance to meet overall deflation objectives.
• Manage escalations due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing/payables issues, and database management.
• Lead/support continuous improvement projects for sourcing activities and processes through collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Take responsibility in knowing the various customers (internal and external) and their needs by active search and maintains direct relationship with major/critical customers.

• Perform procurement operations activities covering material master registration, supplier registration, PR/PO process and SLA for sourcing
• Assist in finalizing contract for post tender and contract renewal activity
• To support in checking compliance related due diligence documentations are in place across Business Units.
• Responsible for delivering Procurement savings reports
• Conduct RFx exercise starting from requirement gathering, develop RFx documents, conduct evaluation process and negotiation up to contract execution.

Experience, Functional Skills, Knowledge Areas

• Formal sourcing qualification / Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Strong understanding in procurement process and procedures
• Possess good writing and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
• Ability to document, plan, market/communicate, and execute projects/ programs
• Prior working experience in Fintech Industry will be an added advantage
