Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the factory’s safety management system in line with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Review, assess, and approve subcontractor safety plans in collaboration with the Operation Manager and Technical Supervisor.
  • Supervise inspections of tools, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee hazardous materials and waste management, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Develop and enforce factory-wide safety policies, guidelines, and training programs to build a strong safety culture.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication structures for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) matters across departments.
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate drills and exercises to enhance emergency preparedness.
  • Lead investigations of workplace accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Liaise with government authorities and external stakeholders regarding occupational health and safety compliance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report safety performance indicators to management, recommending improvements.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to safety staff, ensuring effective execution of daily safety operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (Postgraduate Diploma/Certifications in HSE preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in occupational health and safety, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of local safety laws, labor regulations, and international safety standards (ISO 45001, OSHA, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written.
