In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs that power our digital platforms. You will work as part of a cross-functional Agile/Scrum team, collaborating with designers, frontend developers, product owners and application owners to deliver scalable and secure backend solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Backend Development

• Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java, Spring and Spring Boot
• Implement business logic, data access layers, and service integrations
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems

Agile & Scrum Collaboration

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Work closely with team members to deliver features in iterative development cycles
• Provide accurate estimates and deliver tasks within sprint timelines\

Integration & Support

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs
• Assist in debugging and resolving frontend issues
• Contribute documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Code Quality & Learning

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Follow coding standards and best practices
• Stay updated with Angular ecosystem and frontend development trends
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve technical skills

Education & Special Training

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience
Essential 

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in backend development, with at least 1 years using Java or Spring or Spring Boot

Desirable

• Knowledge/Experience of working in Agile/ Scrum environments

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Passion for clean design and great user experience
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with good communication skills

Desirable

• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Huawei)
