The Business editor must oversee the rewriting, editing, fact-checking, in contents published on Myanmar Business Today Journal or other electronic media. The Business editor
generates ideas for new ways of doing things, such as using new technology, implementing ways to increase readership, and how to utilize new and current media.

Job Requirements

Fluent English. Extensive experience in the editing and production of both news and features newspaper sections. Well-read and informed of local and international current business, issues and developments. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- Prior experience at an English-language news website, daily newspaper, wire service copy desk or a recent journalism graduate
- Prior news reporting experience a plus
- Willing to work in odd hours
- Ability to work under deadline and time pressure
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Seek to continually improve editorial development, workflow and publishing process
Working conditions: He/she will work from the Myanmar Business Today office based on a schedule set by the company’ policy.
