Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  • Prepare, analyze, and report accurate financial statements in accordance with Myanmar Financial Reporting Standards and local regulations.
  • Maintain and manage all accounting records, ledgers, and financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax laws, VAT, Customs, and other statutory obligations.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audit processes.
  • Supervise and lead the accounting team, providing guidance and training.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax returns and statutory filings.
  • Keep up to date with changes in Myanmar financial regulations and accounting standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or local systems).
  • Good understanding of local currency management and foreign exchange regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
