Job Description

  1. Develop and implement financial plans, budgets.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to develop budgets, monitor spending, and ensure adherence to financial plans.
  3. Forecast future financial performance based on market trends and business objectives.
  4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  5. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies, as well as identifying the financial risks.
  7. Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  8. Evaluate continuously and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Implement technology and automation to streamline financial operations and reporting.
  10. Establish and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  11. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  12. Guide for external tax preparation to submit.
  13. Review daily cash performance (fx rate, collection, cash receipt, payment, bank remittance/receipt) onshore and offshore.
  14. Maintain multicurrency cash transactions.
  15. Manage and oversee all intercompany transactions across group entities
  16. Support management in decision making by providing scenario analysis and financial modeling.
  17. Collaborate with Sales and Operation Teams to align financial planning with distribution strategies
  18. Support management in setting sales targets aligned with break-even and profitability goals.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., B.Com, BSc, BA).
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in a Chief Accountant or similar senior role.
  4. Professional qualification such as ACCA (Part III completed or finalist) is preferred.
  5. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
  6. Strong time management and organizational skills.
  7. High sense of responsibility, ownership, and commitment to sustainability.
  8. Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial planning, and risk management.
  9. Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  10. Proficiency in accounting software.
  11. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  12. Strong leadership and team management abilities
