Job Description

  • Analyzes sales & financial data, identifies trends, and provides insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Supervises and mentors accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Develops and updates accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participates in special projects as needed, such as mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, or process improvements.
  • Assists in the development and monitoring of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs by performing ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as directed by Regional Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • A minimum of 5-7 years (or more, depending on the size and complexity of the organization) of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS is preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of internal controls and audit procedures
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate the team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills   
  • Ethical and professional conduct
