Position Overview
The Chief Engineer (MEP) is responsible for leading all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering works across development projects including residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. The role ensures all MEP systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project requirements, international standards, safety regulations, and budget targets.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in MEP engineering
At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or Chief Engineer role
Strong experience in building services (residential, commercial, industrial projects)
Experience in HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire fighting systems
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of HVAC design and installation
Electrical power distribution systems and load calculations
Plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems
Fire protection and fire alarm systems
ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, BMS preferred)
Ability to read and coordinate MEP shop drawings
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), MS Project
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and coordination skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Strong communication with consultants and contractors
Ability to manage multiple systems under tight deadlines
High responsibility and decision-making capability
