2.1 Conduct daily on-site management of local Subcontractor staff in accordance with the general contractor's arrangements; communicate tasks and technical requirements; monitor staffing, work execution, and adherence to construction discipline; coordinate issues with Chinese management personnel and track the implementation of corrective actions.
2.2 Monitor construction preparation and execution for assigned civil work areas—including soft soil treatment, prestressed square piles, foundations, main factory structures, and associated roads, drainage, and finishing works; inspect site conditions and the allocation of personnel, machinery, and materials; and promptly report issues affecting construction progress.
2.3 Review construction drawings and technical documents; verify that on-site construction complies with approved drawings and construction schemes; accurately convey technical requirements from Chinese engineers to local staff; and relay site queries while tracking clarifications and resolutions.
2.4 Verify daily work quantities, resource allocation (personnel and equipment), and construction progress; compile daily construction reports, progress updates, and records of site issues to provide accurate data for the general contractor's construction planning and site coordination.
2.5 Prepare, translate, and organize English construction documentation for submission to the client—including daily reports, progress reports, meeting materials, inspection submission packages, and technical correspondence; submit documents according to project review procedures and track client feedback and responses.
2.6 Assist quality and SSHE personnel in inspecting construction quality, inspection readiness, test records, and safety measures; urge local staff to implement relevant requirements; and track the rectification of non-conformities, defects, and safety hazards.
2.7 Participate in site coordination and client meetings; accurately interpret/translate between Chinese, English, and Burmese; document meeting action items; and complete other construction management tasks assigned by the person in charge of civil works.
Handle external documentation and formal commitments in accordance with project authorization protocols; submit matters involving costs, schedules, technical changes, or items requiring formal sign-off and approval to the authorized person in charge.
