Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Responsible for underwriting of new and existing commercial loans
  • Analyze financial statements, business cash flow and other relevant finance documents/date to evaluate an applicant’s overall financial health and repayment capacity
  • Maintain effective communication with various departments and teams to promptly address any credit related matters
  • Make well-informed credit decisions on loan approvals under the supervision of senior underwriters
  • Assessment of risk level associated with each credit application and making decisions based on the Bank’s policies and guideline
  • Prepare comprehensive credit underwriting reports and presentations for review by the Credit Committee
  • Prepare and review contracts/documents during the disbursement process
  • Monitor the performance of existing loans and conduct regular reviews to evaluate and manage ongoing risk levels effectively
  • Engage in continuous research to remain updated on changes in rules and regulations, current industry trends and market dynamics to enhance credit decision-making
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as necessary

Job Requirements

  • Any Bachelor Degree 
  • Minimum 3 years of related working experience as credit underwriter
  • Adequate knowledge of Real Estate Valuation, Business License and other relevant business related documents
  • Good understanding of the credit policies and procedures
  • Familiar knowledge with the Core Banking System and demonstrate effective proficiency in its utilization
  • Good team player with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • Good command in English language
