ROLE PURPOSE

You will be responsible for Endpoint Security, vulnerability management, incident response and security awareness training for the entire company. In this role, you will need to stay on the top of the latest threats and trends that are relevant to corporate information security to keep organization’s systems, endpoints, networks, and account secure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and automate strategies and tuning Endpoint Security tools (EPP, EDR, DLP and HIDS) and rules for detecting and remediating malicious activity
• Detect security incidents before they cause material damage to the business. Prioritize, analyze, and drive alerts to resolution. In the event an alert is identified as a security incident, you will kick off incident response
• Drive cyber security Vulnerability Management program to assess the security posture and compliance of IT services and assets covering network infrastructure, application systems, servers and endpoints
• Develop and deploy security hardening guidelines based on best practices
• Perform retrospective analysis using network, host, memory, and other artifacts from multiple operating systems and applications
• Participate in enterprise-wide operations to hunt of adaptable and previously unknown threats
• Responsible for the Mobile Device Management infrastructure in the organization

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education & Special Training

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computing, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent

Desirable

• Relevant Security Certifications

Experience

• 2+ years of security experience
• Significant experience participating incident response, vulnerabilities management, and security awareness training in fast-paced environment
• Experience in forensics, malware analysis, threat intelligence
• Experience using Python, Perl, PowerShell, or an equivalent language

Desirable

• Experience in the Banking sector

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Endpoint Protection Platform and Endpoint Detection Response to protect endpoint from malware, detect and respond to malicious or anomalous activities
• Understanding of internet security issues and the threat landscape
• Good Knowledge of UNIX and TCP/IP network
• Operating systems internals and hardening with an emphasis on endpoint security (Linux, Windows, mobile platforms)
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management
• A passion for spreading security awareness to everyone you meet & have an interest in web security
• Attention to detail, critical thinking & problem-solving capabilities

Languages

• Excellent communication (oral and written) skill both in Myanmar and English
