Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Study and analyze blueprints, technical drawings.
  • Run load bank tests on diesel generators together with Mechanical team.
  • Diagnose and examine reasons of machine failure and locate any electrical issues during the testing.
  • Create the list of materials required and get it delivered on time.
  • Repair/replace parts, electrical installation of all control and power cabling between generator, changeover panels, switchboards, ancillary equipment, adjust settings, re-wiring, adjust voltage, etc. and deliver according to the plan & design.
  • Ensure use of parts in most effective and productive manner.
  • Work closely with project manager and mechanical engineering team on progress, estimates, etc.
  • Run testing together with mechanical engineering, and make sure energy output is efficient and all issues are fixed before sending to sites for use.

Job Requirements

  • In depth understanding of diesel engine and technology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with power generators.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues on diesel generators.
  • Good communication skills to work with team.
  • Proficient with estimating time required to complete tasks.
  • Experience working with large power generation equipment.
  • Ability to demonstrate safety knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of machines and tools dealing on a daily basis.
  • Sound in all aspects of mathematics.
  • Aware of design tools and techniques.
