Overall Responsibilities

Managing in MEP work construction estimate cost, contract, schedule, site inspection, reviewing building design drawing and reporting.

Key Areas of Accountability

• Preparing the MEP System design
• Overview of MEP System Layout planning
• Revise the drawing when it needed to do.
• Coordinating and administrating MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings.
• Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
• Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
• Prepare the scoping review and justification of the MEP change work order.
• Accountable in bill of quantity vetting for Projects.
• Have updated in construction and local construction authority’s MEP building code.
• Assist in the installation, testing & commissioning of MEP work.
• Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP contractor.
• Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between MEP contractors during construction.
• Ensure that MEP contractors provide and adhere to relevant documents/records.
• Ensure that MEP contractors adhere to Project safety regulations.
• Carry out inspections of the building to identify and resolves issues
• Prepare fixed asset list and hand over to Admin fixed asset team.
• Preparing of NBO-Engineering office works.

Experiences and Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field.
• Minimum Experience & Job Knowledge having excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills 
• About 9 years’ experience in MEP fields
• Ability to maintain confidential information Proficiency skill in Microsoft Office Application including Excel, Words and PowerPoint
• Must have proficiency in AutoCAD and Estimation
• Proficiency skill in Microsoft Office Application including Excel, Words, PowerPoint and Project
• Relative MEP system design calculation
• Positive attitude and emotional intelligence
• Problem solving & conflict resolution Adaptability and flexibility to any situation Work Ethic
• Easy to learn new skills and technology Ability to maintain confidential information
• Must have construction experience, Layout Planning & QC experience
• Able to travel across the country, when needed to do so
