Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Supervise and Conduct field surveys and collect data about air, land and water contamination on a site or area of consideration.
  • Review and assessment of environmental and social risks on client projects.
  • Carry out desk-based research, interpreting collected data
  • Conduct EIA , EMP on various projects
  • Conduct social and public consultations
  • Manage communications from work group to stakeholders, Government Departments and the public
  • Providing report summaries and/or critical analysis of reports
  • Writing  with report and proposal preparation
  • Write and prepare completed and detailed reports
  • Assist Environmental Manager in proposal preparation

Job Requirements

  • Master or Diploma in Environmental studies preferable
  • Experience in EIA, EMP, social consultancy in similar role
  • Have networks across local industry and Government departments, (ECD, forestry department) preferable
  • High proficiency in both written & spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and General computing skills
  • Strong communication (oral and reporting) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently
  • Strong commitment to safety and ethical behavior
