About the Role

We are hiring an Executive Accountant for GBS Hardware Mart (HWM) to support daily finance operations, cash handling, reconciliation, and accurate financial reporting. The role works directly under the Chief Accountant and ensures strong compliance with company cash policies and financial controls.

Job Description

• Record daily cash collections, customer deposits, and maintain the Daily Cash Book.

• Enforce company Cash Policy for all expense withdrawals before disbursement.

• Process AP invoices for local purchases and landed cost entries for overseas goods.

• Perform reconciliation for customer deposits, bank deposits, and expense transfers with GBS Head Office ledger.

• Prepare daily cash flow reports for Yangon and Mandalay offices.

• Support monthly closing tasks, journal entry updates, and provide documents for audit review.

• Manage settlement statements (Business Advance, Petty Cash, Door-to-Door) before monthly deadlines.

• File daily cash in/out documents and maintain proper document control.

• Assist Mandalay Office with daily deposit and expense entries.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of accounting or finance operation experience within Trading or similar industry background.

• Strong knowledge of cash handling, reconciliation, and accounting entries.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry skills.

• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and ability to meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.

• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow in the finance field.
